Everybody loves a good surprise party. We especially love to help put it all together!

Nicole wanted to do something extra memorable for her husband’s 67th birthday. She decided to throw him a surprise party – and wait until you hear how sweet it was! The plan was to bring the family together without giving the surprise away.

Nicole reached out to The Bottle House after seeing our spacious venue and reading about the special baby showers, weddings and events we’ve held over the years.

Since Nicole and her husband live in Colorado, we planned the whole thing via phone calls and emails. Many Pinterest board shares later, we had a party on our hands!

Our team helped Nicole set up the decoration. Over a dozen colorful balloons made a beautiful, bold statement by the cake and sweets table. Pictures of Nicole’s husband through the ages were set up in banners and on frames throughout the space. It was the perfect personal touch and drew in a lot of “oohs and aahs” from everyone on party day.

Throughout the event, guests could look up to find a slideshow of sweet family photos that were shown on our 150″ projector screen. In between trips down memory lane, everyone headed to the food and drinks table. Nicole wanted that area to be extra inviting, so we hung large helium balloons with his age and initials over the table.

The birthday boy was certainly delighted by the outpouring of love he received! Thank you to Nicole and her husband for letting us be a part of the memorable day and to ACA Catering and Annette’s Cookies, Cakes and More for the great food!
